Hull City owner Acun Ilicali would not confirm Sharp's arrival but confirmed the club had completed a signing [via BBC]: "One signing is already done but unfortunately it is a secret. He was one of our targets and we are very happy to get him," Ilicali said. "We have to wait for January for the others but this one we can announce in two days maybe, who knows. I'm the one who always gives clues to who we are signing."

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson may be relieved that the club did not sign the 37-year-old who has previous history with the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side. Last season, Sheffield United and Wrexham took the field together for their FA Cup tie, which the Red Dragons lost 3-1, partly thanks to Sharp, who scored late and mocked Wrexham fans. Parkinson criticised the veteran's actions at full time.
WHAT NEXT FOR SHARP?
The Sheffield-born forward will likely immediately join the Tigers as he joins as a free agent. Therefore, he would not need to wait until January 1 when the transfer window opens. Hull City will next take on Bristol City on Friday, December 22.
