It had been reported earlier this week that Chelsea had taken an interest in Dewsbury-Hall following a failed move by Brighton. The Athletic has now reported that Chelsea have made their preliminary bid for the midfielder as the Blues prepare for life under former Foxes boss Enzo Maresca.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are ready to send two players to the King Power Stadium in a potential swap deal. The two players mentioned in the report are Datro Fofana and Cesare Casadei, who are way out of the fringes of Chelsea's squad and likely seen as surplus by the Blues brass.
